Yuehua Cui elected as a Fellow of American Statistical Association
Yuehua Cui, Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in the Department of Statistics and Probability (STT), has been named an elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA).
He was recognized “for outstanding contributions to methodology development and applications in statistical genetics and genomics; for exemplary mentoring of graduate students and junior researchers; and for significant service to the profession.”
Fellow designation is limited to one-third of one percent of membership each year. Cui will be recognized at the upcoming Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Washington DC during the ASA President’s Address and Awards Ceremony.
