MSDS Ranked Third in Nation by Fortune Magazine

Michigan State University's MS degree in Data Science (MSDS) is a new cross-disciplinary, cutting-edge professional MS degree program shared by the College of Engineering and the College of Natural Science. It is a collaboration among three departments: the Department of Computational Mathematics, Science, and Engineering (CMSE), the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and the Department of Statistics and Probability (STT).

According to Fortune, "Data is a hot commodity at companies of all sizes, and experts with the proper skills to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize data are in high demand. To gain the sought-after skills and upskill or reskill into the data industry, individuals are returning to higher education.
