Dr. Xiao receives 2023-24 William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award

Congratulations to Dr. Yimin Xiao, MSU Research Foundation Professor in the Department of Statistics and Probability, on receiving the 2023-2024 William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award from the MSU Office of the Provost. 

"I am thrilled to be a recipient of the 2023-2024 William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award," said Xiao. "This is a great honor for me and a recognition of the excellent contributions of STT's faculty to the university's mission in education and research, research, and outreach activities. I am grateful to STT's Awards Committee, the department and college leadership, and my colleagues for the strong support that they have given me."

Dr. Xiao celebrated his accomplishment during a special ceremony on May 1.
