SIAM awards travel funds to STT PhD candidate
The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) awarded conference support travel funding to Junoh Heo, currently an STT PhD candidate.
SIAM awards funds for student participants at SIAM conferences. Heo attended the SIAM Conference on Uncertainty Quantification (UQ24) held February 27 - March 1, 2024, in Trieste, Italy.
Funding for these awards is provided by SIAM operating funds, donations to the SIAM Student Travel Fund, royalties generously donated by SIAM book authors, and a grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
Heo presented his work "Active Learning for a Recursive Non-Additive Emulator for Multi-Fidelity Computer Experiments" during the session "Recent Advances in Multi-Fidelity Modeling.”
Congratulations, Junoh!
